Daniel 2:20-21….”Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.”
God is Sovereign and whoever ends up in the White House is the one whom God decreed to be there from before the foundation of the world. My decision to vote third party isn’t just because I don’t trust either Hillary or The Donald, but because I want my vote to reflect the values, beliefs, and morals I hold to and the way to do that is to vote for the candidate that holds to those same values, beliefs, and morals, one who does fear the Lord, and who wants to uphold the Constitution of The United States of America. There IS a candidate who meets all these criteria and that is Tom Hoefling of America’s Party.
Christians have compromised way too long in an effort to vote for the “lesser of two evils” when they should have taken a stand and given their support to those whose lives epitomized the same values as ours. Imagine what kind of leaders we would have now if every single person in America who called themselves “Christian” had, instead of compromising, stood by our convictions and gotten behind godly men. Instead of relying on our faith in God and the power of “strength in numbers”, we’ve cowered in the face of fear because we believed the lie that only a Republican or only a Democrat can win. Abraham Lincoln ran as a third party candidate and he won the presidency. I don’t see why all professing Christians can’t come together as one and unite to get behind America’s Party candidate Tom Hoefling and elect him as president.
If Hillary is elected president, then that is a continuation of God’s judgment on our country. We’ve compromised a little more each time and now we’re paying the price for that compromise. If you choose Hillary, that’s your decision. If you choose Trump, that’s your decision. The great thing about America is our freedom to choose who WE want to lead our country. I choose to cast my vote on someone who exhibits the same godly morals and beliefs I do because that’s who I want to see leading our country.
